I thought, 'Drag is really what I want to do.' If I could make a career out of drag, I would be a true artist. Into my wigs and my costumes and my outfits. I was finding that I was working so hard and investing all that into my drag. I had been doing drag for those 10 months and really enjoyed drag a lot more than my day job. What motivated you to audition for this season?

But I definitely made it a fact to prove myself very early on in the competition. I kind of used that as liberty to experiment more with my drag and to learn things along the way. I saw it as an advantage because I had a very fresh approach. I then realized that I had the power of being underestimated. I did (feel pressure to prove myself) once I got chosen last for that first challenge.
